Stock Market Contest Game - How Do YOU Do?

Monday, July 30, 2012

Stock Market Contest Game
-
How Do YOU Do?

This is free to participate in - you are never required to pay to play.  Anyone can join (pass this on to your friends).  The stock market results will be updated on a "live" basis. (When the market is closed, the ups and downs will not be updated.)  The leaderboard may be viewed on my "How Do YOU Do?" posting on my blog:  http://shirleyis.blogspot.com/2012/07/stock-market-contest-game-how-do-you-do.html

Now you can manage your own "virtual" stock portfolio,  you're given an initial $1,000,000 of virtual investment money that you can buy, trade or sell with and you can see how you would've made out if you had invested with real money. Let your friends know about this and you can compare how you do against each other.  It's fun to see how much money you would have made if you really invested.  You can contact other investors that are out-performing you and ask how they're deciding what to invest in.   This is based on the actual daily S&P 500 and only supports major exchanges (NASDAQ, NYSE, etc.).  If your "virtual" portfolio that you create and upkeep beats the S&P 500 over a full month, you can win actual cash from updown.com, the online Stock Market Game.  It is free to join, there is no fee or cost.  (I've been playing this since April of 2009 and from my initial $1,000,000,  I'm now at $1,300,000+, I can now invest $300,000 more if I want.  (Might as well, why have money sitting around that isn't working and growing for you?)  If your earnings are at a negative amount, you may sell some of your stock to gain enough money to invest into a new stock of your choice, but without a positive gain showing, you can't invest more than what you already have.

This current  contest will run from July 30, 2012 through October 30, 2012.   The deadline for entering is August 20, 2012.  If you miss the August 20th cutoff date, you may still enter, but you won't be entered till the next contest, which will run from October 30, 2012 through January 30, 2013.

Remember this is just for fun, but it can be a learning experience for you!  Good fortune to you and don't forget to check your standings at least once a month.  Bookmark this page!

Golden Words - To Thine Own Self, Be True

Golden Words

To Thine Own Self, Be True

Plain And Simple-Clear As Black And White.
No Gray Areas...

I came upon this on my wall on facebook..I changed it a bit, Listed the options in alphabetical order and in the post on my wall, the last two lines read:
"Don't like your rights taken away?
Then don't take away someone else's"
I thought that line was pretty presumptuous that the reader was advocating limiting your rights...but for a referendum to become law, there are those that must vote to push it through.  It all starts with a thought, an idea.

We've all heard that "golden rule":  "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.":  So how does one behave to another?   Bottom line. . .unconditional love and compassion.  If you wouldn't like someone else doing it to you, you don't do it to them, because, count on it, they don't like it done to them either.

As populations grew and civilizations expanded, mankind found a need to set it in writing to feel more secure that respectful common sense be practiced  by all.  These written rules became laws.  As more and more strangers wandered into set communities and different cultures intermingled, someone decided those rules needed more particular definition...just so there was no mistaking of intentions.  These "by-laws" became amended to the original simple set of rules.  Which of course will, in time, need more clarification, resulting in more laws being written.

With each new addendum, freedoms and individual trust for a fellow man's right to make a "proper" choice became less and less.

Laws were never intended to strip uniqueness and freedoms...as they are doing now...likely, all stemming from someone's fear that someone else might not "respect" as much as they did.  (Oxymoron?)

Where do we draw the line and say "enough!!!"   And how do we justify that it is enough?

This is a an inset of :
"Hue and Tone:The Light and The Sound" which is an inset of a larger drawing:
"Atom Auras II"

As soul awakens the human consciousness it is embodied with, physical body and soul (the ego and the id, yin and yang...) empower each other to near it's goal to return home, it is given the responsibility to set a law unto itself...it then, must always exist within this self-imposed code of conduct (law) and must never step outside of it.  It is a Law Unto Itself.

Should soul step outside it's own law, it's own boundary it set, it will not find an open door in coming Home.  If it can't love, respect, and trust in itself, could it know without a doubt that another can?  It must have absolute, unwavering faith to be allowed to enter that doorway.

To be true to one's self is effortless...it takes effort to be untrue.

INTERESTING TO NOTE:  The phrase "rule of thumb" is derived from an old English law which stated that you couldn't beat your wife with anything wider than your thumb.

To Your Health - TO HEALTH

-
o- To Health -o-

This is a new addition to my blog, I was going to add this to my Golden Words, which I post to pass on or impart indisputable tidbits of wisdom. I've decided, however that this topic, health is so vast and BIG, it deserves it's own category.
-o-
-o- You're probably asking why I think I can pass on advice to you? And please remember - anything relayed on this blog is only what I've found interesting and/or feel it's something that others need to know about so maybe more light may come of it... Perhaps someone may take an interest and do more studies on something they've stumbled upon here-who knows where it can go - remember, there's no such thing as coincidence everything happens for a reason. But certainly, if you've come across any information that you can dispute with backup, please post it in comments beneath the blog. Also if you have more information that can support what you've read here, please share it with us all so we can be aware of your information. We need to have a good 360 degree view of "everything" so the best path in our lives may be chosen.
What do I know about health? Everything I can learn about...Throughout my almost 59 years of this life, I've always done extensive research on anything new that I or someone I've known have encountered or heard of as far as health issues and anything to do with the well-being of body, mind, and soul. Actually, soul is always "just perfect" but we should all have concerns as to the state of soul's ability to communicate with the other bodies...to relate to the mind and therefore utilize it's wisdom for the body. This produces a healthy "being"!
My earlier years of research and study dealt with "allopathic" or traditional Western medicine. Samuel Hahemann, the founder of homeopathy, coined the term "allopathy".  It is derived from Greek roots and roughly translates as "opposite suffering".  He used the word to describe the often harsh and sometimes pointless treatments employed by conventional medical practitioners in the 19th century. (by clicking on the above information shedding light on allopathy, you may also read Tony Gray'Owl's call for anyone who would like his cure for herpes I & herpes II..I'll write more about him later)..as I was unaware of any other option...but I did get hints that others were available.
My mom used to say...if you start to get a sore throat, eat some umi boshi (Japanese Pickled plums) or make and drink a tea (drop two umi boshi into a cup of boiled water and let steep, drink after cool enough)....or she'd say never eat pears if you're trying to heal any part of your body, pears will prevent the healing. I eventually began to wonder where my mother got this advice she was passing on to me. So I asked her...she then proceeded to tell me about her father, Moichi Moriyoshi, who was one of two people in Japan who have always been allowed to travel into China and bring back herbs to be used for Japan's medicinal use and preventive medicine, my grandpa being from Hiroshima, Hiroshima perfecture the southern part of Japan and the other doctor was from northern Japan, she didn't mention what city or perfecture - she told me they were the keepers of the two copies an ancient Chinese "PDR" (Physicians Desk Reference - for lack of a better description) book containing all of China's known health remedies.  China allowed those two copies to leave it's soil and they were the only two Japanese people who also were allowed into China to acquire herbs that were only available there.  She said it was a very big, thick book and all written in Chinese (the size she described to me, I envisioned it to be a much larger than a Websters Unabridged Dictionary)...hmmm, I always thought it was strange that she knew how to read Chinese...lol...she must've spent some time in that book.  Since her father had translated (passed on) when she was 9, I asked her where the book was now. She answered that her oldest sister has the book now (made sense...she had entered the health field and became a nurse or maybe a Doctor...I can't say for sure as mom was limited with her communication with them after transplanting her citizenship to the U.S.  Mom's long since translated too, thereby totally severing any communications with her siblings - any references I had for contacting them has been stolen from me and I don't think I ever knew any of her sister's married names.  She said their kids could speak English, but I was never introduced to them and like I said, I don't even know their last names or their children's first names. As it looks now, I guess the Japanese heritage of our family is limited what I was able to receive from my mothers answers to questions that I thought to ask while growing up.... In retrospect I have a million questions I wish I would've asked.
Am I healthy?!? Other than needing some caps replaced on my teeth (had them for over 30 years, but now I need to replace some posts as 3 have broken off and the caps don't have anything to hang on to...when I get some money again, I'll take care of that...(sure wish someone would come up with a way for us plain folk who don't have money to make our own teeth....lol) But, yes, I am very aware of what I put into my body, as it will work it's way out to reflect your indulgence of it and show on your physical body.
I haven't been to a doctor in well over 30 years... personally I don't agree with allowing someone to "practice" on me. If anyone's gonna do any practicing on my body, it will surely be me first. I have to exist in this body during my stay on Earth and I do so enjoy and am happiest with a capable, functional "house". I've always had an interest in why some bodies are ill and/or don't function and others are like "spring chickens" to their dying day! It seems to me to be only fool-hardy to not realize the importance of good health in all aspects of life.
I've also been blessed with encountering some wonderful doctors who have imparted tidbits of their medical wisdom to me and now whenever I have any one on one dialogue exchange with anyone in the health field, if they impart the impression of knowing what they're talking about and give advice that comes across to me as wise and non-intrusive along with preventive advice, I have questions and I won't hesitate to ask them anymore as I have learned the squeaky wheel gets the oil. I've found that since I do have questions for them, they realize I have an interest and they often impart additional knowledge that is always helpful to know. One such doctor, chose to pass on some helpful muscular manipulative techniques to me when an old boyfriend in 1981, Greg (since translated) had such back pain, he couldn't stand up. He whined, cried and moaned....I even had to bring him a container so he could relieve himself because he couldn't get up to walk to the bathroom. Since it didn't seem his pain was going away, Greg decided to go to his chiropractor. I had heard of them while growing up...many people thought of them as quacks...it wasn't until I believe the 1970's or 80's that Chiropractors were even recognized as a legitimate medical field, so prior to that, if you wanted to see a chiropractor, that expense came out of your own pocket as your health insurance didn't cover them. Before Greg, I was 10 years old when I was introduced to the existence of Chiropractic services. My (great) aunt Meta Baumgartener, her husband ([great] uncle) Ernest Baumgartener and his brother (uncle) Fred Baumgartener were the only other people I knew who went to see chiropractors. Back to my story about Greg and his back, I managed to convince him that maybe if he could lay down in the van then I could drive him to his Chiropractor he could help him get his back in alignment. After four days of laying there in agony, Greg decided that maybe he could make it to the van. So I made a "bed" for him to lay on while traveling into Tacoma. Greg's chiropractor, Dr. Yu couldn't do anything to help him...he couldn't even touch Greg's back, much less manipulate it to pop a vertebrae back into place. So he sent him out for x-rays and came back to his office when done with that. After studying the x-rays, he determined Greg's sciatic nerve had slipped out of it's holding holes in the coccyx (one of Greg's passage holes had a gap on one side-birth defect or injury) and was being pinched in that gap and inflaming more. decided Greg needed to go see a specialist who would be able to handle Greg's needs better...he was going to send him to Dr. Ian Marsh. Dr. Ian Marsh(retired shortly after) was a specialist he had a whole slough of DD's before his name on his sign at his office- the one that stood out to me was the DDO. After going into his office, and older man with white hair came out and introduced himself with his Swedish accent. Greg was pretty apprehensive - but followed Dr. Marsh back to the examining room. He ran Greg through the gamut of options, surgery for a permanent fix, or ongoing temporary treatments. Greg chose the temporary fixes since there were no guarantees with surgery. It wasn't ten minutes later from following him in, Greg came walking back out with a smile on his face. He said Dr. Marsh wanted me to come back in there with Greg. He showed me two large sized paperback books. One was, "The Holistic Health Handbook: A Tool for Attaini Wholeness of Body, Mind and Spirit by Berkeley Holistic Health Center (November 1981) ".
The other was "The Science of Homeopathy by George Vithoulkas (1980)" he told me he wanted me to go buy those two books and read them (first time I had heard of either form of medical practice) so I wrote down those names and agreed to do so. He scheduled an appointment for Greg for in next week and asked me to come in too he said he wanted to teach me a few things, but he wanted me to get those books and read them first. I nodded and said "ok".  As we were leaving, Greg stopped and said "Is there something I can take if the pain comes back?" Dr. Marsh's smile faded and he looked down at the ground then back to Greg and while shaking his head and waving his hand in front of him answered, "Well, I suppose you can take an aspirin if you have to!" -That brought a smug smile to my face as at that time in my life, I wouldn't even take an aspirin, except if I noticed a fever was going to start in me (two aspirin taken before it sets in, usually cut the fever off before it grew into the flu-for me). I bought the above mentioned books, which, by the way, I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for some alternative health measures. They are an excellent introduction to "alternative medicines"and explain everything in laymans language. That next week, he asked me if I bought the books and if I had read them... I let him know I was still reading them. So he asked me and Greg to come back to his office, he then explained to me about Greg's back pain and showed me a diagram of the spinal column and how the nerves come down through it and at the base of the spine, forks out and then goes to the hips and down through the legs. He had Greg lay on his side on the table and flex his one knee up as close to his chest a he could while doing that, he showed me how he finds his lowest rib and about two inches down from where that joins the spinal column, move out from the spinal column about two inches and run the hand lengthwise along the muscle with very slight pressure. I will feel a slight lump there. That is the thigh flexor muscle, it is the longest muscle in the human body. Anytime someone does too much (more than usual movement) exercise using their legs or hasn't been doing as much movement with their legs as they're used to, that muscle (running from about the bottom rib to your hip joints along the lower part of the spinal column) will start to cramp, sometimes in the form of spasms, sometimes a solid hard cramp...either way, those muscle cramps will pull on the vertebrae, thereby causing lower back pain, or in Greg's case, causing his sciatic nerve to slip out of it's usual resting place and pinching it. Then he showed me after finding the spot it's cramped (by the lump) how to take my thumb and push very slow, strong and steady, said I had to push hard because this muscle sits about four inches inside on the average persons back- this will make the muscle relax, relieving the stressful pull on the vertebrae which thereby eases the discomfort and pain. He said if I didn't have the strength to push hard enough, I could take my knee and push on the back of my elbow to give the pressure added strength. This was a form of shiatsu massage. He said what he has taught me there should save me and Greg a visit to Tacoma and $85 a visit. I thanked him and still thank him to this day...I have been able to help many friends who've had chronic back pain caused from the sciatic nerve. When helping out friends (usually friends who can't afford to see a doctor), before I do anything I always ask if they have a previous back injury and if it's ongoing... I want to help not hurt more...lol (I have one friend who has a floating bullet (slug) in her back, so of course when giving her a back massage, I always have to locate that first before applying any pressure).  Dr. Marsh also told me that going to a chiropractor to get your bones adjusted all the time is not good.  It eventually wears down the bone where it rubs to snap back into place.  The key is to keep good muscle tone to hold the vertebrae into place.  One needs to know which muscle it is that keeps that particular vertebrae from being pulled out of place and work on toning up that muscle with simple easy exercise. Talk to your doctor and ask him for an exercise that can help your particular case.  You'll have less back pain and less visits to the doctor!  The cost of exercise is inexpensive! The muscles function is to hold that vertebrae from slipping out, so make sure the right side and the left side are equally built up so you don't have a lop-sided pull.  Once that ridge on the vertebrae has worn down too much, there will be constant and continual slippage usually resulting in having to fuse another vertebrae next to it to help hold it in place.  So if you go to the chiropractor, learn about the muscles too...it's not all about the bones.  He also recommended that we go buy a gravity machine, and use it for a few minutes every morning and evening, it will take a lot of tension off your discs and help your vertebrae have the space they need and not click against the other vertebrae near it.  We all know that from standing upright all the time, over the years, we lose height, the gravity machine will help prevent that.
-o- With that said, let me convey my intent of "To Your Health". I like to keep informed about health issues so I always run into information about keeping healthy, getting healthy and pioneering (still to this day) medical discoveries/releases to the public. I've decided that when I do come upon new or interesting info, I will post those items for any of you who may be interested. I will also post tips and when I do, I hope I will get feedback from my readers... Please!?!

Creative Eckspression - My YoVille Rooms- Art Gallery

My Art Creations In YoVille
Today's Feature ~ Shirley's Art Gallery Featuring Collage and Custom Original Art by Shirley

Yoville is a socially interactive game created by Zynga which was originally offered for play in MySpace by Yahoo.com. I started playing it after a friend introduced me to it on Facebook. This is a game that you receive your basic apartment and an avatar that you can compose from parts and dress up. You have to go to work to earn YoCoins to purchase items with. When I first started playing it, they really didn't have much to decorate with so I learned to create items I wanted by piecing together smaller items to create the bigger picture of what I wanted to project. YoVille has giftable (freebie) art pictures and art pictures that are purchasable (and I also use the mirrors-because they have interesting frames) so I take these and add items to them to make my custom collages...I also do this with Items to form sculptures. If you're a friend/neighbor in YoVille, you can click on the icon on the right side of the YoVille screen that shows a group of 3 people together so you can view your friends online and click to visit....well, below your friends that are online are your other neighbors, scroll down those till you get to me and click that you want to visit me... it will give you the option of which of my houses you want to visit...you'll want to visit the "ShirleysArtGallery" (YoVille's High School Building). This will take you to the landingbelow:
Outside Landing

Entrance Lobby
After entering, you'll appear in the entrance lobby pictured above. This room features art collages I put together and wall murals...this left me with a lot of empty floor space so I decided to put together some collaged sculptures using different items available, including a reflective pool in the right corner built into the slate slab flooring. Usually the first thing I do when starting a room is instill your color theme into the flooring and walls. This presented a problem to me because, with this being originally a high school, it came with two-toned walls with which the bottom color is "what you see is what you get". This is the first house I've encountered that with in YoVille...usually if you change the color of wall, the whole wall will change color. I like to base my wall color on what large carpeting I have available (or what can be purchased) to fill in
the black areas outside of the main flooring area. So, I had this unchangable powder blue stripe that ran all the way around the room that I had work into my decorating color scheme. That blue stripe is why I decided to incorporate the rock slabs into the lobby's surrounding flooring since this will be the most traveled room, the rock slab made sense...Then I won that pink vending machine in an in-game contest. I really didn't have anyplace to put it but since someone else was having to go without it, so I decided I better find a use for it and decided to create a small refreshment area in my lobby. I wanted to put the refreshment area on the left top of the rock slabs, but our avatars can only travel on the main flooring so I decided to stick it on the closest corner on the slabs...then I could incorporate a convenient table and chairs right on the corner, so the items bought can be eaten and drank there. I decided to offer lounging in all rooms and installed comfortable chairs, in case someone just wants to take the load off their feet and view the art from afar or maybe just sit in enjoyable surroundings and wi-fi into the internet with their laptop or read a newspaper purchased from the newspaper stand outside. Leaving the lobby, the first display we'll be going to is Ground Zero... in DisplayRoom0.

DisplayRoom0 features collage art and one of my favorite collage sculptures-PinkGlowLightPegasus'.
this sculpture is comprised of a Nightclub Light Cube Pink (glowing cube table) and I had to construct two of the Pegasus sculptures with the collections widgets and snuggled the Pegasus' right into the light cube table. Turned out pretty nice.I wanted to use those copper vases and I really like the lines on the space pillars and the way they glow and they just happened to have a copper (they call it orange) one so I thought
that would be good to use with the copper vases. Let's Move on to DisplayRoom 7 (because I didn't have a 1 or 3, at the time so I stuck a 7 above that door)
DisplayRoom7 This room features collage art and murals. I ran into a projector screen so I decided to use that and turn it into a display piece...I may add in another floor sculpture or two later, there's enough room to allow that. I had an unusable huge gold dragon that I just loved, but didn't really have anyplace I could put it, so I decided it would find a home in the unusable surrounding floor area. I loved how the Sandcastle worked out on the wall...it really makes a nice mural subject.
DisplayRoomA Above is another room of collage art and a couple of collage sculptures to show a lot of possibilities to create original arts for your Houses in YoVille..I think this room could use one more sculpture in the right corner of the room. Moving on to the next room.

DisplayRoomZ
This room features original art drawn, painted, or digitally created by me!! In YoVille, they do allow the opportunity to buy empty "brass" frames which players can upload their art or photos and display them in their homes in YoVille. DisplayRoomZ is reserved exclusively for me ... since I own the gallery. The sculptures are collages from the items available in YoVille. I'm hoping maybe someone would like to display some of their custom creations...I wouldn't mind
reserving the last room in this building for another artists work and having the featured artist change monthly or even once every 2 months if they have a lot of different work and would like to rotate it. Depending on the featured artists quantity of available art to display- it could be rotated weekly, every other week, or monthly. I've seen some very good artists works using the collage type methods in creating rooms, they could display screenshots of their rooms, I would accept that. Below is my last room that I would like to reserve for guest featured artists. Should I ever find one, I'll rearrange the room in RoomZ so the door to this room would be visible so the featured artist's friends could come in and view their friend's works. And of course, I would remove my items from the room.
This is the 6th and last room of my Art Gallery that I'm still working on (or 7th if you want to count the arrival/front of building as a room)...when I'm done, either filling it with my own or a guest featured artist, I'll put together a walk through slide show or maybe a walk through video touring my YoVille Art Gallery - Featuring Collage and Custom Art by Shirley.
I think I'll start sharing the different rooms I put together in YoVille...sometimes I even wish I had a real place like that! ha ha :) Click here to see some screenshots of some of my rooms in YoVille.
Below is a selection of art that is used in my original art display in the Gallery. You can click on the picture below and it will take you to my album in facebook that will display these pictures, right click on the picture you'd like to make a copy of to use for custom art for your house in YoVille. I only request that you please have the courtesy to leave a comment on this post that you are doing so...Thank you.

Katerina Ilieva's Custom Designer Jewelry

Today, I clicked on an ad for Goody Beads, since I've been feeling a stirring to get some more beading done...when I went to their page, they were promoting epoxy clay and some of the images I was looking at were just stunning pieces. One artisan's work, in particular just jumped out at me! Her jewelry pieces were so creative and innovative my first thought was..".I wonder if she'd let me post her art in my blog? I'll bet she's got a catalog ...hmmm...I suppose she really couldn't lose doing that, huh? An offer for more exposure and who knows...someone might just want to purchase something from her"....So, needless to say, I had to get in touch with her and see if she would mind if I featured her impressive creations and that I'd like to post her catalog if she had one available. Above is the image that caught my eye in the ad....and probably the deciding factor leading me to feature Katerina.Ilieva and her very unique creations using epoxy clay. I have made a few things using polymer clay, but until I saw that ad I hadn't heard of epoxy clay. A few years back a friend of mine had mentioned that she was experimenting with some stuff that was similar to polymer clay, but when you bake them they actually become sliver and/or gold...I wonder if this is what this epoxy clay is? Unfortunately, my friend who was dabbling with that metallic clay translated a few years back while I was living in Sultan....so I guess I'll just have to see what Katerina can tell us about this medium....We'll come back to Katrina's blog, but first I'm really excited to present Katerina's "catalog"..now if you're interested in something, jump on it!!!! Her pieces are one of a kind unique and they sell quick, as her pricing is very reasonable!!!

each of these images can be clicked on to go to her website to experience her full line of currently available treasures.

(some examples from Katerina's "STORE" catalog)
  • 5Art Clay Silver, Pearls
    925 Silver components

Oh, this is wonderful!! I clicked on her "follow Me on Blogger" button and was redirected to her blog. This blog is a gold mine of valuable information with workshops available. This blog features Certified Art Clay Silver Senior Instructor: Katerina Ilieva, Aleksandar Jovanovic Ksandra, and Jasminka Boskovic. Oh SCORE!!! YES!!! I've been wanting to know more about that clay that you can shape your own findings and bases on which to build jewelry on....and there it is!! Now, this particular blog addresses the techniques to correctly work the metallic and crystalline clays (which includes how to stir it !! WOW!) This is what you need to know to create (if you have the creative talent) something like the beautiful ring that won my heart, pictured above! Please, please, If you like the Jewelry and have the ways and means ...and desire, to purchase a piece, please help support wonderful artisans like Katerina who don't mind sharing their knowledge, tricks, tips and tools, willing to pass on the knowledge to keep their trade going! I'm thinking I may have to feature a few other pages of her blog so we can all become a bit more aware and maybe quench the thirst to learn some basics of her creative techniques! I'll will make it a point to feature Katerina so we may get to know more about her and her creations again!
Katerina was born and raised in Bitola, R. Macedonia and currently resides in Singapore...

Golden Words - Wisdom of a Shaman - Tony Gray'Owl - The Living Book of Life

Golden Words - Wisdom of a Shaman

Three weeks ago, on my fb wall, I saw the above picture...an owl......when I saw this owl, it brought a BIG smile to my face....I thought,"oh, I need to know this person who put this out!" So I sent a "friend request " to Tony Gray'Owl....Tony Gray'Owl is a Shaman and is writing "The Living Book of Life". Within this book, he shares his lessons of his spiritual travels, with each new journey, his book grows, hence the "Living" book....Each excerpt I've read so far,..rings a familiar chord and refreshes a memory of my own journeys...lol...the important lessons to be learned are a universal wisdom and a truth is unchanging...which is why his words were all too familiar to me. Having traveled on that tour of Soul's Universal Lessons of the Wisdom of Being, I was very happy to encounter him and his blog which shares "The Living Book of Life". Below is that posting that lead me to him.. He gave me his blessings to share any of his postings I choose..the important thing is to get the "Word" out to those souls that have an eye to see and an ear to hear...I will share his encounters in my Golden Words section.
The next week (two weeks ago), I saw an image on my wall and I thought.... "Oh! I like that!!" then I looked to see who posted it...."Oh!! No wonder!!" it was Tony Gray'Owl... :) I'll share that with you, also...it will follow the above mentioned posting,

Dedication /* to the Love of my Life, the Great Grandfather/Creator

Please play selected soundtrack and return here to listen as you read the poetry of my heart, http://www.mixpod.com/playlist/87738270

As I stood alone in the light of darkness neath the shadows of forest evergreen . . . I saw the light, this web I weave, suddenly a shadow passed me by. I turned to see who had touched me so very softly. So tenderly upon my heart, I felt you slip by . . . I turned and shouted out . . .

WAIT !!!

I have a gift for you the soft gentle words of the emotions written within my heart I will give to you. It took me a life time too get here I suppose it was because you were waiting . . . For Me. There on the other side of Eternity.

All my Love and a thousand kisses like butterflies floating all around you touching, touching you, touching your lips, touching your heart, with mine. For you my Infinite Creator are the essence of the joy that I spill out of my heart into the entirety of the world freely I give the essence of my self to you. I give the world of humanity your love.

If I were the light . . .

I would surround you in me and make all the dark lonely nights bright. If I were the sun I would be envious of the brightness of your smile.

If . . . if I were able to touch you I would never let go.

Come with me . . . Join with me and I shall with these words spoken ever so softly from within the emotions of my heart speak the poetry of my love whispered sweetly into your heart. I will touch your mind as no one has ever touched you there before. I will give you my love and I will never take it away it will be yours forever and a day.

Here take these I believe that they are yours, I give back to you the wings of the angel that you are, you must have lost them along the journey of your life having gotten lost in the brilliance of the light of the world as a human being.

I was walking along in a field of beautiful wild white lilies and nearly tripped over them, I gently picked them up carried them to my home. I cleansed them with the purity of my Love, Here take them they are yours, awaken and remember who you are . . .

My Angel . . . I love you.

Who am I you ask? Let me tell you, Who I am is, I am Strong
Stronger than steel mixed with iron yet melting molten putty in the hot sunlight of your love for in a single moment of weakness with a mere glance into your eyes you would sway me with the softness of

your __________________ touch.

The sweetness of your voice, stirring forgotten emotions from deep within my heart you would cause to awaken my Passion, my passion of the love I have for you

LOOK! THERE !!!

Floating upon my sea of tranquility . . . Pure JOY. Quickly, pick it up here is the book of my heart that I thought had been stolen, read me like an open book, my emotions everything that I am laid down in written word for all to see without Shame I will hold up my beliefs into the light of . . . public scrutiny,

I will not stumble . . . I will not fall . . . I will not fail for I . . . I am Standing . . . Standing alone in wilderness, I began to think. Then ponder the questions of my life. To all the Lost Souls . . . Suffering, suffering in silent darkness, Solitude. Thinking of Ending it. With mine eyes I have seen, With mine ears I have heard.

These are my Words . . . I was lost till you gave your love to me.

But then you took it away.

Standing . . . Standing alone in wilderness

Standing . . . Standing alone in shadows essence of forest Evergreen in Moonlight lit darkness, Neath the Canopy of that which gives us Life . . . Trees.

Standing . . . Standing Alone in Wilderness, Surrounded By lost Souls, Unknown Suffering, In Silent Solitude, Voices unheard
Pondering the End of it All.

Sometimes . . . Sometimes I Pray for it

Standing . . . Standing Alone, I heard the Earth crying

Standing . . . Standing Alone, I heard the Moon Sigh

For it to had heard the Earth crying . . . Wondering, Why?

Why? Sometimes . . . Sometimes I pray for it.

The cold steel Kiss of the Moon, Meeting the crook of my Neck

Like a long lost Lover, Coaxing me into Comfort . . . Obscure

As my finger conforms to the Curve, Pulling the Moment Closer

Closer . . . Inviting the Quiet. the Quiet I sometimes Hunger

Yearn and Desire it . . . the Quiet Nothing More

With the Sky all colored Grey this is what I heard the Earth say

There comes a day that even . . . I Fear

With merely a clench of my finger, not more than a flinch, just a pull, just a squeeze . . . And,

BOOM

Nothing . . . Nothing more. Sometimes . . .

Sometimes when the mood takes me as far as it can, Sometimes
I pray for it, the Redemption, My Release . . . the End, of this Plaque, this pestilence called Humanity. These blind selfish greed driven madmen, without thought of the sorrows and sickness they cause. Everything that dies one day comes back to you. Karma will catch them in its hands.

Sometimes I pray for it . . . Standing alone, did you never ask Why?

Ashes to Ashes . . . Dust to Dust,

You can only Imagine what is to become of us . . . Standing,

Standing alone I looked up and saw a little bird that glides across the sky, it Sang a song of melody that made me want to sit right down and cry.

I am the Sculptor, that strikes the stone,
to reveal the beauty within unknown.

I am the Painter that caresses the canvas,
to evoke the emotions of deep thought.

I am the Poet that works the words,
and unimaginable things are taught.

I am the potter that works the clay,
things people are made of each and every day.

And as this man, I am Standing . . . Standing alone against the entire world it seems that, Sometimes, Sometimes I pray for it. To touch the very soul of everyone that is within my reach. This is what I would love to teach to the people of this planet. What I would love to teach, YOU !

YES . . . I said you the one reading these words right now.

You have the Power, this knowledge that we call, Wisdom.

It is gripped tightly in your hand, set Deep within your Heart, In the vast expanse of your Mind is found the Ability to set Free your love. You gave your love to me and then you took it away. What?

What else will you do today? Have Mercy! Run to me, Come to me

Look what you’ve done to me! I was lost till you gave your love to me, but then took it away. Take out the power Kick down the door
and set yourselves . . . FREE !!!

Money cannot buy it baby . . .

Sex cannot buy it baby . . .

Drugs cannot buy it baby . . .

You cannot buy it . . .

My Love is . . . FREE !

I believe in Love, is why I do these things for you, I believe in Love alone. Give up your needs these poison seeds. Find a different kind of Free one that just lets you . . . Be.

Give me the strength to lay it all down. Whispers silent in the night
Let all our dreams go by this is where our prayers are heard, Wipe away your tears and let the salt stains dry, it all goes by . . . it all goes by, For time will catch us in its hands to be blown away like grains of sand.

So here within My hands I hold the Ability to set Free, My Love Upon the Earth.

Standing . . . Standing Alone, it seems Against the Entire World

Standing . . . Standing Alone in Vast wilderness, Yet . . .

((((((((((((surrounded))))))))))))

by Countless . . . In-numerable . . . Lost Souls, Speeding by . . .

Faster ever Faster, Mere Shadows of themselves

Faster ever Faster . . . in Search of what can be bought for this is what they have been taught is “Happiness” . . . Not!

Standing . . . Standing Alone in vast wilderness, I looked inside myself. Standing Alone I Looked inside My Soul, I look inside my Heart and I saw you. I am reaching out to you my Love today out
upon the Oceans of my belief, I have set sail today out onto the Sea of my Tranquility. A soft and gentle breeze will bring me to,

You . . . My Angel, Not just any Angel would do . . . Only You,

Only You, My Angel, my Creator the Love of my Life.

My Angel I was guided to you. What am I to do? Now that I have found You. Should I tell you my Dream? The Vision of Life. Share with you my Joy, never before known till now, My Joy far beyond compare, this Joy I with you shall share.

Not just any Angel would do . . . Only You.

Listen closely. First, God loves You and so do I,

Without Reason . . . Without Rhyme these are the words of Time
they are mine. My words, Till now unknown, Standing . . .

Standing Alone, I looked inside myself, I looked within my Soul into the deepest Depths of my Heart, I found a precious memory a love so vast as the midnight sky, a love so deep as the oceans azure blue, I am to live this one true Love . . . A joy beyond All knowledge never known, the one seed that I have sown.

My seed of Love I now plant within your heart of hearts. With gentlest kindness Ill tend to it. With tender Loving care I'll Joyfully watch it grow. Around the world My light does glow for those of you who disbelieve . . . Ashes to Ashes and Dust to Dust . . .

This is what must become of us. What is it that you will do today?
What is it that you Believe? With these thoughts with these words
I Shall Leave for you to ponder the messages hidden deep within this web of light I weave . . . Thus; I leave My Life in Your Hands

ALL My Love and Kisses to you my Angels . . . awaken now and remember who you are. I believe in love and I believe in . . . YOU !!!

With one single swift decision we could end all economic strife globally. If we but took the TOTAL, global wealth all economic values and divided that huge amount of money by the total number of living souls upon this planet and gave to each this equal amount, over night every person in this world would be multi millionaires and have new homes and clothing, food and medical care unprecedented in the history of mankind. This is what I call equality . . . this is what I call economic stimulus. This is what I call compassion. I have a dream and you just saw it.

From the mind and heart of Tony Gray'Owl
