I've added a new page to my blog, this page is available all the time with no scrolling or hunting to be done!! If you'll take a look in the upper right hand corner of this blog, you'll see a list of pages (think there's 3 there now) and you can click on Art the Cornerstone and go to my gallery!
I've added 2 new slideshow/movie screens to the gallery with each screen featuring the various halls. I'm still in the process of making the halls, I only have Hall A and Hall B up right now, but in a few days, Hall C should be up ......AND...I have a sneak preview of Hall C....I've also added a music selection you can click on to have music play while you view Hall A - after clicking for the music, another tab or window will open up to automatically play the music, just click back on the blog tab and click the play button and enjoy your viewing of Art the Cornerstone Hall A - featuring art by Shirley...so go check out the Gallery!

YoVille is a socially interactive game created by Zynga which was originally offered for play in MySpace by Yahoo.com. I started playing it August 2009, after a friend introduced me to it on Facebook. This is a game that you receive your basic apartment and an avatar that you can compose from parts and dress up. . .In this post, you can see how I took a building which was offered as a "high school" and transformed it into an Art Gallery featuring art which is composed of many different items resulting in custom framed art and custom composed sculptures and wall murals. There is also a room featuring my real original art works framed in the Brass Frames offered to players to allow them to upload their own art and/or photos giving their room creations a touch of originality. I also have a link available so you may go to my YoVille art albums and copy the art then paste to a paint file and save in a public picture file on your computer allowing you to upload to your own picture file online, which in turn allows you to upload the picture to your own walls in your house in YoVille.

I have read many interpretations of peoples spiritual journeys and/or lessons and other than the "ancient" Eck Masters, I haven't come across any who relay their experiences with the vivid accuracy of actually being able to convey what he truly experienced as Tony Gray'Owl. If you need to read anything written by a living person to expand your wisdom and consciousness...his writings are a MUST READ!!! I very highly

Creative Eckspression - My YoVille Rooms - Art Gallery

A friend posted this on my wall in facebook. After reading it, I had to comment back to her.."gotta share this" so, I'm passing it on and sharing it with you...<
A speaker started off his seminar holding up a twenty dollar bill. With an audience of about 200, he asked,"Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you, but first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple up the $20 bill. He then asked, "Anyone still want this?' Still the hands were up in the air.
"Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started grinding it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.
"My friends," he said, " we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the Money, you still wanted it. Now why is that? Because it's still $20...after all it went through, it, even if it would have been missing a portion of it, it did not lose it's face value-...it is still worth $20. Now...check out this parallel - like that dollar, many times in our lives we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and/or the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But always remember this...like that dollar, no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will NEVER lose your value. Don't let anyone else fool you or convince you otherwise...YOU will NEVER lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased. YOU are still priceless to those who DO love you!. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by who we ARE.
You, me...each and every one of us are uniquely special - do not EVER forget that!!

Do you have a need for a recycle logo? (Like the little triangular symbol to the left) I found a website that has many different recycle cliparts for copy and use. Go to http://www.planetpals.com/recyclesymbols.html
If you ever find yourself in need of a flower pot to put a new plant clipping in or to grow some starts by seed and don't have a "stock" of empty flower pots stacked up in the garden shed, here's an idea with an opportunity to express/explore your creativity and at the same time, do your share of reducing plastic waste by making something useable with it.
Check this out! It can take up to 1000 years for discarded plastic to degrade! The numbers are ever increasing, but look at the figures from 2003, only 12% of plastic bottles sold were recycled. . .leaving 40 million bottles a day that ended up as trash or litter. Every little bit each person does can help cut down on the ever growing (literally) "plastic fantastic" world being created. Butt Prints In The Sand
A few years ago, I was visiting my friend Jimmy and he handed me a new poem that had been passed on to him. At first glance, I thought it was that familiar "Foot Prints In The Sand", but I did notice the title said "Butt Prints In The Sand" and that piqued my curiosity so I read it and asked him if I could jot it down. Unfortunately, I don't know who wrote it so I can't give credit where it's due...it was signed "anonymous". I decided to put a little visual to it and offer it as another freebie that is printable. It would look nice if you burned the edges a little or get creative and line the edges with small sea shells, starfish, etc. and decoupaged it to a nice piece of wood and shellac or lacquer it, or if you want a shiny clear with depth over it, pour some polymer resin on it (this coats the seashells or other 3D items nicely). It would make a nice wall plaque for yourself or for a gift.
I had mixed "emotions" about the message of the poem, .......(Does the word enabling ring a bell?) Remember everything has its price (for every action there's a reaction), Read more....

Wisdom Of The Anasazi
I always have people asking what tribe I'm from...I always answer, "Not this time. But back when Coronado and his men crossed the mountains with their big dogs and weapons of war, saying they came in peace, I was Anasazi. And I did look the same then as I do now. My father looked the same too, except he had long hair and a red bandana tied around his forehead. Coronado's coming was the signal for the end of our people. Our way would be no more. Although warned of this many of our people still succumbed to the Spaniards promises and teachings of Christianity. The Conquistadors did "witch hunts" for those of us who would not have anything to do with them. They passed many hours on the rocks that covered our entryways to our kivas searching to destroy. Then the mountain blew. . . two times, the mud flowed over the great cities toward the sound (the canyon used to be full of water), I lived in a kiva (third level down) on the other side of the water from the big cities. (Much like living in Gig Harbor and looking at Tacoma with Mt. Rainier in the background and Puget Sound being the water). Well, I guess there was more to the prophesy than what I could recall. . .

ws are truly a testament of the creation of this plane we live in. As the white light meets the interference created by moisture (rain, precipation, clear crystal), it breaks down the creation of the white light. Hence, the rainbow. All that we see is the interference of this white light...thought wave is the base root that creates the interference and the refraction creates the color of that thought. Causing the illusion of the physical plane, what we see.

This is a case of a photographer photographing another photographer. The following pictures were taken by Hans van de Vorst from the Netherlands at the Grand Canyon, Arizona . The descriptions are his own. The identity of the photographer in the photos is unknown.
I was simply stunned seeing this guy standing on this solitary rock in the Grand Canyon . Watching this guy on his thong sandals, with a camera and a tripod I asked myself 3 questions:
1.. How did he climb that rock?
2. Why not take that sunset picture from that rock to the right, which is perfectly safe?
